"BIM is magical" – we've known this for a long time. And yesterday, it was made visible to the world stage at the buildingSMART International Summit 2025! 🏆

With the award of the openBIM Award 2025 in the DESIGN FOR BUILDINGS category, the project "BIM is Magical: Data-Driven Highrise Design through Interoperability, Collaboration, and Innovation" by the ARGE TVG / AllesWirdGut - Hertl.Architekten - FCP successfully triumphed against international competitors!

More than two years of dedication and passion have paid off! 45 IFC models with over 900,000 components and 82 data drops form the foundation. Agile processes, regular bi-weekly data exchanges, and a dedicated issue management setup ensure the highest planning quality and cost security with a planning team of up to 118 people. Thanks to the DPU we developed, even participants without modeling software can actively engage in the 3D planning process.

A special highlight: The client, IPM Immobilien | Projekt | Management Düsseldorf GmbH, can virtually explore the building at any time through a VR-3D model and QR codes – a new dimension of transparency.
