General Overhaul of Powerhouse Vermuntwerk
The powerhouse Vermuntwerk started operation in 1930 with four machine sets and was complemented with a fifth machine set in 1939. A comprehensive general overhaul of the plant is now planned from 2025 to 2026.

The main project is the replacement of the existing five machine sets consisting of turbines, generators and transformers with two new machine sets, which requires far-reaching reconstruction works. The respective project comprises services for the design and tendering of all construction works. This also includes site supervision including quality management and billing as well as as-built design. The design of all subsections is performed in 3D and the communication and documentation is carried out via a CDE platform.
