Step by Step to Operating Facility Approval

1. CONSULTATION

Initial analysis of requirements and project objectives, taking into account the relevant legal framework, including trade law and environmental protection law.

2. ANALYSIS

Assessment of the current situation, measurements, and environmental and hazard evaluations to determine the impacts of the planned facility.

3. EMISSION ASSESSMENT

Preparation of emission assessments and development of emission reduction measures – as the basis for the submission documents.

4. REGULATORY COORDINATION

Early communication with the responsible authorities to clarify open questions and avoid delays.

5. APPLICATION

Official submission of the application and conduct of the approval procedure, including any on-site inspections or hearings.

6. APPROVAL

Following review and any further adjustments, the approval notice is issued, containing all relevant conditions and requirements for the operation of the facility.

7. COMMISSIONING

After successful implementation, the facility is commissioned in accordance with all regulatory requirements. The authority may also require regular inspections after commissioning to ensure that all approval conditions continue to be met.
