BIM was the beginning. Since 2011, FCP has used Building Information Modelling as a digital planning tool – making us one of the pioneers of digitalisation in the construction industry.
But BIM is just one of many tools fundamentally transforming the way we plan and build. Digital workflows, automation, software development, and digital building operations go far beyond. Under the umbrella of Digital Engineering, we bring together this entire spectrum – and develop new digital solutions together with our clients to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Philosophy
Digitalisation in the construction industry is advancing – BIM is now standard practice.
FCP began establishing BIM as a digital planning tool back in 2011 – at a time when digitalisation in the construction industry was still in its infancy. What was considered pioneering work then is standard practice today.
It quickly became clear that BIM is the starting point, not the destination. The demands of digitalisation in construction extend far beyond: from developing digital workflows and automating planning processes to bespoke software solutions and digital building operations.
This is why FCP has consistently broadened its focus. Under the umbrella of Digital Engineering, we now address the full spectrum of digital transformation in the construction industry – helping our clients take a decisive step forward.

buildingSMART International Award
Internationally Recognised
FCP has won the buildingSMART International Award with two projects – one of the most prestigious accolades in digital construction.
Pixel2Pset (2021) – A bespoke tool for the automated generation of structural inspection BIM models from digital inspection data. Winner in the Technology category – with a unanimous jury decision.
TVG Düsseldorf (2025) – A high-rise project realised by ARGE TVG in collaboration with AllesWirdGut Architektur and Hertl.Architekten, with IPM Immobilien | Projekt | Management Düsseldorf GmbH as client. 45 IFC models, over 900,000 components, and a planning team of up to 118 people – coordinated on a two-week cycle with dedicated issue management. Winner of the openBIM Award 2025 in the Design for Buildings category at the buildingSMART International Summit 2025.
Digital Engineering Day
Since 2011, we have hosted the Digital Engineering Day – one of Austria's key specialist events on digitalisation in the construction industry. Under the motto "Just Do It Digital", we bring together planners, clients, and technology experts for hands-on insights, open discussions, and genuine knowledge transfer. Alternating annually with the KliNa Tag, the two events together set the agenda for the construction industry's two great transformational themes: digitalisation and sustainability.
