international projects
FCP is an internationally active engineering consultancy headquartered in Vienna, with offices in Germany. Through our membership of the FCP.VCE Group, we are represented across Europe.
With more than 400 employees, we provide the full spectrum of engineering planning and consulting services – from structural engineering and project management to digital project delivery.
Our purpose is the foundation of everything we do. We shape infrastructure that connects people and stands the test of generations. Three themes define our work in a particular way: people, digitalisation, and climate action.
Our History
From a civil engineering practice to an international engineering firm.
Founded more than 65 years ago by Kurt Wenzel, FCP is one of Austria's largest and most renowned engineering consultancies today. With more than 400 employees across multiple locations in Europe, we combine engineering tradition with technological innovation – shaping infrastructure that stands the test of generations.
Bridges, transport infrastructure, cultural buildings, and digital planning methods are representative of our work. Quality, reliability, and the courage to forge new paths are at the heart of what we do.
Our Purpose · Our Vision
Shaping enduring environments and resilient connections with passionate people.
We believe the best way to approach our complex planning and consulting work in the built environment is through connected thinking, a genuine joy in what we do, and creativity.
Openness, personal responsibility, and people guided by their own aspirations are the fertile ground from which that creativity grows.
Built on a deep respect for the diverse needs of all project stakeholders and a culture of appreciative collaboration, a shared culture of trust emerges.
Solid technical expertise, mutual support within the team, and a constructive approach to mistakes provide us with the essential foundation we rely on.
We carefully weigh the consequences of our actions.
These are our contributions to sustainably improving quality of life.
Team
FCP is more than an organisation. We are a team of more than 400 committed people from a wide range of disciplines, who share their knowledge, experience, and ideas with one another. Through collaboration across disciplines, we develop solutions for complex challenges in building construction and infrastructure.
Our management provides direction and creates the framework for responsible, entrepreneurial action. Expertise, commercial thinking, and a willingness to forge new paths shape our work every day.
Together, we create future-ready living spaces and stable connections — across disciplines, in a spirit of partnership, and with the ambition to develop solutions that stand the test of time.
Innovation
At FCP, ideas come true — through people who shape the future.
For decades, we have been planning and delivering complex construction projects at the leading edge of technology.
We develop new methods and digital tools for the practice of tomorrow. These include purpose-built software solutions such as our DPU®, AI-assisted inspection systems, and research projects with universities and international institutions.
New developments are used and tested within FCP's own project practice before we make them available to our clients.
This is how we create innovations that prove their worth in practice and support the ongoing advancement of the construction sector.
