KliNa® Spotlight: Vienna Rail Link

FCP Takes Over Environmental Site Supervision for ÖBB Project Rail Link in Vienna.

KliNa® Spotlight: Vienna Rail Link

With the enhancement of the rail link an important connection in Vienna’s city area is modernized. The comprehensive infrastructure project by ÖBB comprises the modernization of the route between Wien Hütteldorf and Wien Meidling, new and modernized stops, barrier-free access as well as noise abatement measures and a denser interval of the municipal railway S80.

In infrastructure projects of this scale comprehensive construction works meet existing traffic and settlement structures. Noise and vibrations cannot be completely avoided during construction works.

Check of the Environmental Specifications

Within the scope of environmental supervision for noise and vibrations FCP checks whether the environmentally relevant specifications from the approvals are met. Thus, the latter are considered in the project process and are professionally classified.
