Life-cycle management analysis of the overall bridge network of the Austrian Railways by means of the LCE prediction tool jointly developed by FCP and ÖBB considering various maintenance strategies.
Subject of the project was the application of the LCE analysis tool developed by FCP together with ÖBB for the observation of bridge structures on the basis of the total stock of the Austrian railway network considering different maintenance strategies.

Preparation of predictions for the short-, medium- and long-term maintenance and reinvestment demand for all bridge structures in the existing network of ÖBB Infrastruktur AG.
The current FCP/ÖBB-prediction model was applied to a data set of approx. 10,000 railway bridge structures for the investigation periods of 12, 50 and 120 years.
The results of the common model have been incorporated for the determination of the future resource demand for the first time.
