Step by Step to the Operating Licence
1. CONSULTATION
Initial analysis of the requirements and project targets considering the legal framework like trade law and environmental protection law.
2. ANALYSES
Survey of the current status, measurements as well as environmental and risk assessments to be able to define the impacts of the planned facility.
3. EMISSION SURVEYS
Preparation of emission surveys and development of measures for emission mitigation – as a basis for the submission of documents.
4. COORDINATION WITH AUTHORITIES
Early communication with the competent authorities to clarify open questions and avoid delays.
5. APPLICATION
Official application and implementation of the licensing procedure incl. potential visual inspections on site or negotiations.
6. APPROVAL
After check and any required further adaptations, the licensing notice is issued which includes all the relevant terms and conditions for the operation of the facility.
7. INITIAL OPERATION
After successful implementation the facility is put into operation considering all the official requirements. The authority can also demand regular checks after the start of operation to ensure that all licensing conditions are still met.
