Baurat h. c. Dipl.-Ing. Peter Fritsch Celebrates his 80th Birthday

Mon, 10.02.2020

2020 offers us a special occasion for celebration. The civil engineer and co-founder of FCP celebrates his 80th birthday with his family today, on 10 February 2020. In the same year, just a few months later, FCP Fritsch, Chiari & Partner has its 60th company anniversary.

But let us elaborate on the success story of Mr. Peter Fritsch first. He was born in Vienna and grew up there. After having concluded his civil engineering studies at the Vienna University of Technology he started his professional career in Vienna’s branch office of the bridge pioneer Kurt Wenzel in 1966. Peter Fritsch laid the foundation for the well-known engineering consultants together with his business partner Gerd Chiari by founding the engineering office Fritsch, Chiari ZT as civil law company in 1977, which has been gradually extended by incorporating new partners since 1995.

The company has rapidly grown over the last few decades and meanwhile has already five branches and partner offices in Austria and abroad. The fact that FCP is so well-positioned today can be attributed to the brilliant, technical expertise, successful project handling also on international markets and the cooperative team spirit of Peter Fritsch and Gerd Chiari, as well as their vision for timely expansions and partnerships.

Today FCP is one of the five biggest planning offices in Austria and that is why the company’s founder introduced himself to numerous new staff members at one of our legendary Christmas parties with the following words, “If you wonder who I am – I am the F in FCP!“

In remembrance of this amusing anecdote the management and all staff members would like to express the best wishes for his birthday and cordial thanks for his share in FCP’s success story to our pioneer Peter Fritsch.
